RIGHTS

Welcome to the Bookouture Rights page!

As we gear up for the Frankfurt Book Fair, we have enjoyed the three best sales months in Bookouture’s ten-year history, and undoubtedly the most successful year for rights sales – both in the worlds of translation and film and TV. Richard has very deservedly been promoted to Rights Director and Saidah is taking on more of her own territories. For a clear picture of who is selling what please see the bios below.

Pete-Nightingale-500

Peta Nightingale

Contracts, Rights and Translations Director

I joined Bookouture in February 2017. We are now almost 5 times the size as a company. Bringing rights-selling in-house in 2021 was a key factor in growing this vital part of our business, and we have significantly increased our sub-rights revenue by creating an expert focus on selling Bookouture titles only. We have also successfully entered the German market through the launch of Bookouture Deutschland, translating and selling direct to German readers.
