Bookouture re-sign contracts with Mitchell and Miller

We’re super excited today to share the news that we have re-signed contracts with authors Sarah Mitchell and Beth Miller. 

Commissioning Editor Cara Chimirri has acquired World English rights, including audio, for two new historical novels by Sarah Mitchell from Veronique Baxter at David Higham. The first of these will publish in 2022 and explores the pen pal relationship between an elderly lady and a teenage boy, which uncovers wartime secrets that end up changing both of their lives forever. The second novel will publish in 2024.

‘I am thrilled to be signing another contract with Bookouture. It’s a joy to publish my novels with such an expert and enthusiastic team. The next book is a really exciting one and I’m delighted my wonderful editor and agent love the idea as much as I do. I now can’t wait to share the story with my readers!’

We’re also so thrilled to announce we’ve acquired a new reading group novel from top-20 Canadian and Australian bestseller Beth Miller! Commissioning editor Maisie Lawrence acquired world rights and the book will be published in early 2022.

Bookouture acquire US and Canada rights for Sam Hepburn’s debut psychological thriller

We are thrilled to announce that Associate Publisher Lucy Dauman has acquired US and Canada rights for Sam Hepburn’s debut psychological thriller, from Stephanie Thwaites at Curtis Brown. Originally published in the UK and ANZ in 2017, this is the first time Her Perfect Life will be available in North America and will be released in February 2021.

Bookouture re-sign contracts with MacDonald and Bright

WE’RE SUPER EXCITED today to share the news that we have re-signed contracts with cozy crime authors Dee MacDonald and Verity Bright. 

Associate Publisher Lucy Dauman has acquired World rights on behalf of Natasha Harding for two more cozy crime books by Dee MacDonald, via Amanda Preston at LBA.

Dee says,

‘I’m over the moon to have the opportunity to bring more of Kate Palmer’s cozy crime adventures to my readers, and also to be able to continue working with Natasha and the amazing team at Bookouture – who do so much to promote our work.’

Bookouture re-sign contracts with Sacerdoti and Harrison

We are delighted to let you know that Bookouture have signed a deal for two new WW2 time-split novels from bestselling Kindle author Daniela Sacerdoti.  

Associate Publisher Jessie Botterill has acquired two new novels from women’s fiction bestseller Daniela Sacerdoti. Author of the bestselling Glen Avich and Seal Island series which have sold over one million copies in ebook to date, Sacerdoti’s debut novel Watch Over Me was named the eighth bestselling Kindle book of all time in 2015, when she was also ranked as the eleventh top-selling Kindle author. 

Daniela’s first Bookouture title, The Italian Villa, hit the Amazon UK top 100 and the follow-up, The Lost Village, is available for pre-order now. Bookouture have WAL, audio and film and TV rights for all four books.

Number One New York Times and Amazon Chart multi-million bestselling author Gregg Olsen signs for more books with Bookouture

Bookouture Publisher, Claire Bord has acquired World All Language rights for three more books in the chart-topping bestselling Detective Megan Carpenter crime thrillers, along with two previously published young adult thrillers by Gregg Olsen from Susan Raihofer at the David Black Literary Agency.

We are thrilled to announce that Publishing Director Ruth Tross has acquired World English rights in two more dark and compelling psychological suspense novels by S.E. Lynes. The deal was done with Veronique Baxter at David Higham.
