Bookouture - digital publisher of brilliant fiction
Commissioning Editor Jennifer Hunt has acquired world rights to two emotional, issue-led dramas featuring characters whose bonds with their dogs have changed their lives. Written by author Casey Wilson these uplifting US-set novels will appeal to the readers of Marley and Me and A Dog’s Purpose.

A Dog’s Hope tells the story of golden retriever Buddy, who’s waiting in the rain for his owner Toby. Toby has been reported missing in action, but Buddy won’t accept this, Toby said he was coming home and Toby always keeps his promises. As Buddy refuses to leave the memorial service, we learn the story of how they met, pulled each other through the toughest of times, and why Buddy will wait for Toby forever…

Jennifer said,

Buddy is a dog you will never forget. This book is for everyone who has ever opened their front door to a wagging tail, marvelled at the loyalty of their furry companion and wondered what their dog is thinking. Casey pours so much emotion into this novel, your heart warms for Buddy and Toby just as often as it breaks, and I am so glad I get to work on these books at Bookouture.

Casey added,

I’m thrilled to be joining the Bookouture team to bring A Dog’s Hope to readers around the world. It’s been so rewarding to work with my editor and fellow caninophile, Jennifer Hunt, on this powerful story of the bond we have with our furry companions and I’m beyond excited to launch the first of two emotional stories that are sure to win the hearts of dog lovers everywhere.

We do hope you will join us on Facebook and Twitter to celebrate.
