Bookouture sign new six-book deal with crime writer Lisa Regan

Bookouture are delighted to announce that Associate Publisher Jessie Botterill has signed Lisa Regan for a further six titles in the bestselling Josie Quinn crime series, bringing the total to twelve. The first in the series, Vanishing Girls, has sold over 150,000 copies and has been a bestseller in the US and UK Kindle charts, The Wall Street Journal and USA Today. Bookouture have also just agreed a paperback deal with Grand Central Publishing in the US, to publish Vanishing Girls in the autumn of 2019.

Lisa says,

Bookouture sign new detective series from M. M. Chouinard

We are so very excited to share that Publishing Executive Leodora Darlington has acquired world rights for three books in a new detective series from M. M. Chouinard, a research psychologist with a PhD from Stanford.

M. Chouinard’s first book is an absolutely unputdownable crime thriller with psychological suspense that sees the newly-promoted Detective Jo Fournier grapple with the responsibilities of her new position while trying to piece together her most difficult and dangerous case yet. The first title in the series will publish in May 2019, with book two following in September 2019 and book three in January 2020.

More thrillers coming your way from Boland and Chase

Associate Publisher Natasha Harding has acquired World All Language rights including audio, film and TV for two brand new psychological thrillers by Kindle Top Five and USA Today bestseller author Shalini Boland. Bookouture have also agreed a deal for two of Boland’s previously self-published bestsellers The Best Friend and The Girl From the Sea.

Set in Cambridge, Chase’s novels follow DC Tara Thorpe as she teams up with her boss Garstin Blake to solve a slew of local mysteries. Murder, mystery and maybe even romance is on the cards!

Bookouture welcome women’s fiction author Catherine Miller

We’re overjoyed to be welcoming women’s fiction author Catherine Miller to Bookouture.

Commissioning Editor Christina Demosthenous acquired World English Language rights for two emotional women’s fiction novels from Hattie Grünewald of Blake Friedmann. Catherine was previously published by Carina (Waiting for You and All That is Left of Us) and HQ for her Gin Shack novels.

99 Days With You is a heartbreaking yet ultimately hopeful novel about Esther and Nathan, who meet in a doctor’s surgery, each awaiting a cancer diagnosis. Not knowing how many days they have left, the pair fall in love against all the odds – promising to make every moment count. It will publish in June 2019, followed by a second book in November 2019.

Bookouture have signed a new three-book contract with Karen Clarke

We’re thrilled to announce that Bookouture have signed a new three-book contract with women’s fiction writer Karen Clarke, author of the Beachside and Seashell Cove series. Three romantic comedies in the Little French Café series will be published in March, June and October 2019.

Bookouture sign award-winning author and criminologist Jennifer Chase

We’re so very excited to share that Commissioning Editor Abigail Fenton has acquired world rights for three books in a new US detective series from award-winning author and criminologist Jennifer Chase.

The first book will publish in May 2019, with book two following in September 2019 and book three in January 2020.

JENNY HALE to be published in paperback by Forever, GCP

We’re so delighted to share the news that bestselling Bookouture author Jenny Hale, who has now sold over half a million ebooks, will be published in paperback in the US by Forever, an imprint of Grand Central Publishing (GCP).

Forever will publish Christmas Wishes and Mistletoe Kisses in October 2018 followed by The Summer House in May 2019.
